**See below for edit after Dr Q's response** I have never posted a one star review before. In fact, I've only ever posted a review below 5 stars once! The service we received at this vet was so poor that it compelled me to write me first one star review. I won't go into all the details, bc they will probably just dispute them as they do in all the other negative reviews, but from my experience of this vet, they have very poor communication, customer service, record keeping, and accountability -- oh, and they're over priced! I would seriously NOT recommend going here. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. *** Response: - You say we repeatedly asked for a refund. That is incorrect. We asked one time and your staff failed to respond to us for weeks on end, so we sent follow up emails once a week. - It was not a miscommunication between me and my wife. You recommended a repeat service without any veterinary justification, and my wife was unaware that the procedure was already done. Why would we not trust the vet to accurately review our pet's records and recommend appropriate services? Unfortunately, we should have second guessed you. - We believe in paying people what they're due for their work, but we also expect someone to take accountability when they make a mistake, even if that means taking a small loss in income. You have still yet to provide any justification for the service you recommended, not here, nor in any of our private emails. - We have never had an issue with another vet with any of our animals before. We only switched to this vet bc we moved. In fact, I've stayed with the same Dr, Psychiatrist, and therapist for years -- I don't switch between providers on a whim -- you all were just that bad. I hope you pay some attention to the negative feedback you've received from countless people on here rather than only being defensive and arguing back!

My husband wrote a review but since we can't respond to their response. I am also writing one to explain our situation and some things to be aware of. We recently moved to Conifer and were interested in Aspen Park Vet Hospital as we have a dog with high anxiety that doesn't like the vet and we liked the sound of a more holistic vet to help with that. Being postpartum this year we have been splitting up who takes our animals to the vet. And my husband took our dog earlier this year for his yearly. And then I took him a couple of months ago for some vaccines. When I brought him in for the vaccines they claimed that at the yearly my husband took our dog to they forgot to take blood so recommended we draw some as my dog has had issues with his kidney values in the past. And who am I to argue with the advisement of a vet? Dr. Q looked at the records they had (which were all hand-written on separate sheets of paper) and stated that it hadn't been done that year. So we moved forward with it. Only to be called later and told that they saw no changes from earlier this year. To which I answered I thought you all hadn't taken his blood this year? And they responded yes we had. So Dr. Q did not read the records right and recommended something that had already been done. Putting us out another $290. While I could have confirmed with my husband, it was during the work day I trusted the word of the vet to know if it had been done or not. This led us asking for a refund as the only reason we got blood re-drawn was because Dr. Q stated that we had not done it yet this year, when we indeed had. So we put my anxious dog through more trauma and needle pulls because their records were incorrect. Instead of taking accountability they are now calling us hostile. When if fact we were extremely patient when explaining the issue and waiting over a month for a response from them to make things right. We followed up regularly with emails asking for updates on receiving a refund and hoping for a resolution and some accountability as they were not responding for weeks at a time (so if that is hostile, I'm not sure what they would have recommended us doing). And they are now saying it is a miscommunication between my husband and I, but why were their records not up to date and why would they suggest something that had already been done? We are moving to another vet. I am super disappointed by the lack of accountability and the lack of record keeping. The techs and front desk was always wonderful there, so I expected the opposite of what has happened and a bit of humanity and understanding. They did offer us 50% off a wellness package for future use. However there was still no accountability around their side of the mistake and instead of doing what was right now, they are now looking for ways to make us the problem. They also ended the message to my husband “saying good luck at yet another vet”. Not sure what passive aggressive tense that is. But my dog has only had one other vet who was wonderful and the only reason we went to Aspen Park was because we moved. So thank you, hopefully we do have much more luck at the place we go next.

We adopted a dog from a shelter who came with a cast on his leg. We received many different opinions from various veterinarians — some even recommended amputation. On top of that, he later injured his rear knee while running in the snow. Thanks to Dr. Q, Rufio is now a happy dog, running on all four legs — amputation-free and surgery-free. Absolutely spectacular!

Love everything about this place. They're so personable, and they've taken care of all three of my dogs. She "Dr" Q honestly cares and loves every one of her little patients. Couldn't recommend this place more
