I visited this clinic three times. My first visit was acceptable, but my last two experiences were so disappointing that I no longer trust this clinic with my dogs' care.
My most recent visit was especially concerning. My dog suddenly became ill late in the afternoon. She began frantically and indiscriminately eating grass, weeds, flowers, and multiple houseplants, including a jade plant, a spider plant, and a begonia. She vomited multiple times but continued desperately trying to eat any vegetation she could find.
I called the clinic at 4:16, no answer left VM, and immediately drove there, arriving at 4:30 p.m.—a full 30 minutes before the clinic's posted 5:00 p.m. closing time.
When I explained what was happening, I felt like I was inconveniencing the receptionist simply by walking in. Rather than checking with the veterinarian or attempting to triage the situation, I was told they couldn't help because they were about to close and was offered the phone number for Poison Control. At no point did she leave the front desk to ask the veterinarian whether my dog should be seen or whether her symptoms warranted immediate care.
Pet owners don't always know whether something is life-threatening, that's why we seek veterinary care. I wasn't asking the clinic to stay open late or demanding extensive treatment. I was asking for someone to assess the situation and tell me whether my dog needed immediate medical attention.
My previous visit also left me feeling talked down to rather than listened to. On that visit, I received inconsistent estimates from the front desk, and the overall interaction left me feeling dismissed rather than respected as a client.
After two poor experiences out of three visits, I no longer have confidence in this clinic. Professional veterinary care isn't just about medical knowledge—it's also about compassion, communication, and making clients feel that their concerns are taken seriously, especially during an emergency. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience, and I will be taking all of my pets elsewhere.
Update: The owner's response characterizes me as "entitled" for expecting emergency services. That was never the issue. My concern was that, as an existing client, I called and arrived during normal business hours with a dog who had suddenly become acutely ill, and at no point was I informed that the practice could not evaluate urgent cases during business hours. That limitation is not communicated on the clinic's website or Google Business profile. Rather than addressing those concerns, the response instead focuses on me personally. After reading the clinic's replies to other negative reviews, I can't say I'm surprised. It reinforces my confidence that I made the right decision to establish veterinary care elsewhere.
We had a really scary experience with our 8-month-old golden retriever, Bear, after he ingested part of a nicotine pouch. From the moment we called, Carrie and her team—Axel and Lexi—acted quickly and with such urgency and professionalism. They immediately jumped into action, provided the care Bear needed, and truly saved his life.
Their knowledge, calm demeanor, and compassion made all the difference during such a stressful time. They kept us informed, reassured us, and treated Bear like their own.
We are beyond grateful for Carrie, Axel, and Lexi. I can’t recommend this team enough—if you want a veterinary clinic that genuinely cares and acts fast when it matters most, this is the place to go.
Dr. Nedele and her team have always been caring, knowledgeable and willing to make every effort to help my dogs. They have been through barb wire incidents, dog attacks and serious liver problems and they have helped us every step of the way.
