Overall, I have had great experiences at the Falcon location in the past, but unfortunately, they truly missed the mark today. After calling multiple locations regarding a prescription for Simparica, I was told that it would not be a problem to fill the prescription because I had a valid prescription authorization from a competing local veterinarian. However, after driving 45 minutes to the location, I was told they could not fill the prescription. I had all of the appropriate paperwork, including my pet’s veterinary records and prescription authorization. The front office staff explained that because the heartworm test from the recent visit on 7/28 did not specifically indicate “yes” or “no,” they could not fill the prescription. I explained that I had personally confirmed with the veterinarian that the heartworm test was negative, as I was told during the visit. I am trying to understand where the breakdown in communication occurred. If I had a valid prescription authorization from a local veterinarian and all of the appropriate records and documentation, I am disappointed that I was not able to have the prescription filled—especially after confirming with multiple locations beforehand that there would not be an issue. I have had positive experiences with this location in the past, which makes today’s experience particularly frustrating. I hope the communication and process can be improved so other customers do not experience the same inconvenience.

My GSD was given such good care. We started out at their Urgent Care for a leg wound. He was there 4-5 days for surgery & red light therapy & it healed up great! The staff called with updates every day, as well as a call to get tips from me when he wouldn't eat for them. The doctors were very caring: they took their time with explanations, answering my questions and setting up a plan of care (keeping cost in mind for me too). I will definitely use them again. We're in Colorado Springs, but it's worth the drive! Thank you, TCVC-Falcon, for all you did for Dillinger! ❤️
