This is the best vet experience of my life! Dr. Steve is a true gem and so kind and considerate. They took SUCH good care of my puppy who tore his dew claw while we were visiting Telluride.

My dog is 13.5 yrs old and I thank Animal Hospital of Telluride for him reaching this age in great health and still hiking strong. He has used up several lives with emergency visits when he has fallen off a Clift of ingested poison. The staff is so attentive and Dr Smolen and Dr. Capaldo know their trade. I am very thankful for having them, I feel we are lucky to have such professionals in our community! My cat and Aussie are also in their hands..

I had a great experience at the Animal Hospital of Telluride. The care my pet received was personable, thorough, and compassionate. However, I had difficulty obtaining the SOAP notes needed for my pet insurance claim. After my appointment earlier this year, I called multiple times and left messages requesting the records, but never got a response. My pet insurance company also contacted the hospital directly and didn't hear back. I appreciated the quality of care during our visit, but hope the office can improve its follow-up and communication around medical-record requests.

The Animal Hospital of Telluride staff is the best! Everyone from the receptionist, vet techs and vets all take such good care of my high energy dog. They put up with all of her naughty behavior with smiles and laughs. You can feel confident you dogs is in the most loving and competent hands at the Animal Hospital of Telluride.
